This portable test instrument is used for measuring accuratelyand easily the Turn Ratio of double wound power, distributionand potential transformers. These can also check polarity.A nominal Voltage (1V) is applied to the LV side of thetransformer under test, the voltage developed on the HV sideis compared with the internal multitap standard transformerand the resultant of the two is fed to the electronic phasesensitive null detector. The null point is indicated on wide viewpanel meter.Minimum controls are provided on the front panel, assuresease is operation and high reliability.
